Wow! Where has half the year gone??!?! I can’t believe it’s June and summer is near. I’ve been so awful this year with blogging consistently. At first I completely beat myself up about this. I mean – all of the google pros tell you, you MUST blog, you MUST post. CONTENT, CONTENT, CONTENT. So, please don’t take my silence as indication that I’ve gone away or that I have nothing to say.

The truth is, your girl has been BUSY! These last six months have been amazingly awesome for the Lauren O Brand. We hosted our very first full day Wifey for Life workshop at the gorgeous, Town and County Club. This was a dream come true for me. I am so passionate about providing brides with the tools to plan their wedding, the right way! We had four amazing speakers present to our Wifeys and the feedback was oh so satisfying. When a bride tells me, “Every bride in Connecticut needs to be at this workshop.” All that anxiety about neglecting the blog goes right out of the window.

I’ve also had to opportunity to participate in three styled shoots. I love styled shoots because they allow me to take the vision in my head and just create. They also afford me the opportunity to work with some pretty awesome vendors, like Earth Blossoms, Rachel Girouard and Beauty Entourage.

Aside from those things we finally have a wedding season full of clients perfect for Lauren O. This year we are designing weddings ranging from beautiful beach front to tented weddings under the stars. I’m so very excited! It has been such a tremendous year of growth for this little company I dreamed up while pregnant with my now 2.5 year old son, Evan. A full season of weddings keeps us busy but it also keeps us motivated and so excited about the future!

2016 is looking even better for Lauren O! We have a new wedding assistant, Miolle (you will meet her via blog very soon), our branding is going through some exciting changes and we will introduce our Lauren O Planning Worksheets!

There is lots more to come from me over the coming weeks. I promise to blog more but feel free to catch me on IG! 😉

Until next time, happy planning!
