Lauren & Nick – Eolia Mansion Wedding

I first met Lauren (love her name, BTW) at our Spring 2015 Wifey for Life Workshop. She was recently engaged and just beginning her planning journey. After the workshop we got to chat a bit and I asked about her Eolia Mansion wedding. Once she began telling me how she wanted everything to feel and all of the thought she was putting into the details, I knew her wedding day would be amazing – and it was!

A little background on Lauren and Nick. They met in elementary school, began dating in high school and got married ten years later. Together they are adopting a beautiful little girl, Tesla, which speaks to the heart of this beautiful couple.

Lauren has the most beautiful gift of being thoughtful, sentimental and intentional in everything that she does. Every detail of her wedding day, from the vintage handkerchiefs collected by her late Grandmother. To the handwritten notes and personalized gifts she gave each of her bridesmaids was beautifully and perfectly crafted to not only celebrate her and Nick, but also celebrate their families and the people who meant most to them along their journey. Relive part 1 of their day with us.

The day began at the beautiful Historic Granite House. This location is truly a gem. The grounds served as the venue for Lauren & Nick’s rehearsal dinner. And the two buildings on the property functioned as the perfect lodging and wedding day prep for the couple and their wedding party.

Next it was time to exchange gifts. First Lauren opened her gift from Nick. He had a box delivered to Lauren full of 10 “Why I Love You Cards”. At times the cards were funny and other times, they were so sweet and romantic. We cried y’all, the ugly cry.

Once we all got ourselves together, Lauren presented her bridal party with their gifts. Cue more crying! They each recieved earrings, a vintage clutch and beautiful art by Karri Lee Designs.

Can you believe this was only the beginning of the day! Next week we’ll relive the emotional ceremony, lively reception and all of the amazing florals and decor by KLW.

Until then, happy planning!
