Happy First Day Of Spring!

We get an extra oomph of energy on the first day of Spring, even if our surroundings look a little less than green. Something about the idea of rebirth, transformation, and the promise of greenery to peak out of their hibernation makes us ready to take on wedding season and beyond! Our favorite part of Spring is the florals that finally make their way out of the ground and into our centerpieces. For an upcoming event or wedding, look to some of these florals coming into season with the passing of bitter Winter!

Tulips

We love Tulips for Spring because of their versatility and variety of colors. Yellow, pink, red, white, name a shade and you can almost always find tulips available in that color.  Lilacs

What’s prettier than a pop of purple in your bouquet? Lilacs are a full and fragrant flower that blooms once the snow starts to melt. They grow in a variety of beautiful shades from white to pinks to purples and can be incorporated in any floral arrangement for an elegant burst of color. We love lilac arrangements on their own or mixed with other spring flowers and greenery to create that perfect purple accent.

Peonies

We absolutely love Peonies incorporated into bouquets. These flowers come in many sizes to make their way into your arrangements as a subtle accent or take over as the entire centerpiece. With this arrangement, Peonies accent the greenery and roses to polish the bouquet with blush and soft pink. The full size and bright colors of peonies allow you to leave a single flower in a vase for a round table and then adorn your bigger arrangements alongside tulips for a purely spring aesthetic.

While we still have a little ways to go, we are ecstatic to finally say spring is here and the warm weather is headed our way! We’ll be planning the spring florals for our upcoming brides and transition into bright and cheerful decor for weddings.
