Congratulations! As we book our 2019 and 2020 brides, we are anticipating a change in wedding day logistics. Wardrobe Changes

Wardrobe changes are adding valuable time to an already busy schedule. The popularity of wardrobe changes have been altering how a wedding reception timeline works. So, this means we will need to add buffer time and have heightened communication with the DJ or MC. Everything should organized in a bridal suite for this pivotal moment!

Food Trucks

Food trucks and buffet dinners are becoming more common in wedding catering. To be honest, we love these. Not only do you open up more variety in your dinner options, but it eliminates the pressure to decide on a set plated meal ahead of time. The big thing with food trucks, BBQ/Smokers, and buffet style meals are anticipating the set up and placement of the food. Confirmation is key with knowing where the buffet tables will be set up, the amount of staff needed, and who is responsible for set up and breakdown in this non-traditional catering option. So, venues may have restrictions on where trucks can park. Guests need to easily be able to get to and from getting their plate. These are all the details your planner will confirm prior to the wedding.

After Parties

Kudos to you if you’re still trying to party after your wedding day! Wedding after parties are becoming a huge trend to keep the celebration going after the reception. And so, our tip, planning an after party should  be settled and confirmed ahead of time. As always, let your wedding planner know so the details can be included on your timeline! We have seen a Sunday evening pool-party, a private room of a local bar rented out for a late-night snack, and wedding party headed back to an AirBnB with the leftover wine! Confirm the guest list, transportation, and any reservations to avoid any last-minute confusion!

So, in the end, our job is to always anticipate what is next. Scheduling in a full wardrobe change? Planning a special choreographed dance (yes, we’ve seen one this summer!)? Want to reserve a moment to give a speech? We got you! A big part of our planning process with you is to go over every detail of your timeline so you know exactly what to expect. From there, we’ll keep you on track throughout the day so you can fit in every moment.

We are very excited for Pantone’s Color of the Year to be announced as Living Coral! Stay tuned for an upcoming blog on how to incorporate this fresh hue into your big day!
