Wedding Party Gifts

Everyone loves gifts! It is not only tradition, but an exemplary form of gratitude to give gifts to your wedding party. Gifts act as a token of memorialization which your bridal party and groomsmen can hold onto long after your magical day has passed. Coming up with an idea for wedding party gifts can seem a little challenging with everything else on your plate, so we have a couple of tips on how to take off the stress and give a gift that really shines!

Wedding Day Bridal Party Gifts

Make It Personal

The best gifts are those that hold a personal touch for the recipient. We love how Lauren chose a matching set of rings for her girls which she presented while they were getting ready at her wedding. They felt some serious love and made it a very emotional morning! What stood out about this gift was how Lauren presented it along with embroidered handkerchiefs and individual hand written cards. She explained what each of her ladies meant to her and thanked them for always being there!

Be Creative!

We love getting creative as much as possible! This is a great opportunity to show off a skill or learn a new one! Perhaps you could learn calligraphy to draft a stunning handwritten thank you card. We have seen some amazing craft projects turned into gifts in our time here at Lauren O Events. A creative bride of ours put together an adorable gift bag with trinkets her bridesmaids can use to touch up like lipstick and emergency items for the wedding day, and even a homemade hand salve in a mini mason jar!

Start thinking of ideas early, and use some free time to scope out local antique shops, craft stores, and local artisans at farmer’s markets and fairs. Pick up a couple items along the way and your gifts will be done before you know it! We were impressed when Abhir chose a set of stainless steel flasks for his groomsmen to cheers and tuck into their pocket for some quick sips throughout the evening.

At Emily and John’s wedding, we loved the idea of a custom initial engraved box. Complete with the wedding date and set of whiskey rocks to commemorate the couple’s union. Can we get a set?!

Most importantly, don’t overthink it. Gifts are customarily given to your parents and wedding party. Let the responsibility be divided so you give gifts for your side while your fiancé handles the gifts for theirs. A great gift is from the heart. It shows you are thinking of them and everything they have done for your special day.

Until next time, happy planning!
